Kemptville District Community Association

The term ‘WE’ is being used with purpose. The Kemptville District Community Association (KDCA) was asked to take on the Parade a few weeks ago, due to the unfortunate disbanding of the Kemptville Kinsmen. The loss of this organization is going to leave several vacancies in the way our community operates, and the parade is merely one of them. Upon this request, we reached out to our community partners for collaboration, guidance, and solidarity.

Kemptville Lions, Kemptville Rotary, North Grenville Chamber of Commerce, Kemptville Knights of Columbus, Old Town Kemptville BIA, community members and staff from the Municipality, are all assisting to bring this together. We may have missed one or two, given that the table is full! This response is exactly what the holiday season is supposed to bring about. It is so needed this year, possibly above any we have seen in our lifetime.

We will be live streaming the event during the 4km hike ( thanks to Live Stream Junkies), with commentators behind the screens and reporters on the ground. This event for our community will be enjoyed far and wide, the day of, and for years to come.

Let’s make this the best parade in Eastern Ontario! Bring together your group or business to participate in this event, or contact us regarding sponsorship opportunities. Keep watch on our media streams for more information and announcements as they pour in.

Our little community has been growing by leaps and bounds for decades. It is events like this that keep families here, and keep bringing families here, to make it home. We are hoping you will make it a priority to be part of the event this year.
