The old Kemptville Salvation Army Thrift Store on Asa Street is now closed and they are not taking donations at this time. Kemptville Salvation Army Director, Calvin Wong, says their team has been hard at work over the past few months, cleaning out the old store and preparing the new one at 200 Sanders Street (in the old Giant Tiger building) for inventory. They have been doing lots of renovations and have even created a new entrance for easy access to the store. The thrift store will definitely be open at their new location in early November, and he welcomes the whole community to come check it out. “We will start taking donations again as soon as we open,” he says.
Can’t wait for it to be open! Love to support local. Any clue when in November they’ll be open?
