Kemptville resident Dawn Legoueff was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer on July 6, 2021. The 39 year old mother of two boys, Jacob (16) and Ethan (15), has a long battle and road to recovery ahead of her. She is a beloved sister, daughter, aunt, faithful friend to many, and fiancée to Dave. With no benefits or insurance, the journey ahead will be an expensive one.

Dawn’s family and friends have been working to raise funds to support Dawn and her family. Until September 10, you can enter to win fantastic prizes in a fundraising raffle. The grand prize is a 7-night resort vacation for two and $500 cash to go towards airfare. There are also 26 bonus draw prizes donated by local businesses. Some of these prizes include: dinner for two at the Brigadoon, an Outer Creations Landscaping gift card, a Rideau Roastery gift card, and Jewelry from Smiling Moon. Dawn’s sister Sam said, “This community has been so generous.”

Tickets are $40 each and the raffle deadline has been extended from September 3 to September 10. For more information or to purchase a ticket, email dawnsarmy2021@gmail.com.
