The annual Poppy Campaign kicked off locally on October 26. As part of the “Poppy Drive, volunteers will be out in community collecting donations for poppies, Oct 27-29 and Nov 3-4.

In addition, 85 retail stores around Kemptville will display poppies, with 100% of funds raised from the poppy campaign going back to Veterans.

Canadian Tire will have a weekend pop up tent with a debit machine from the Legion, where they will be selling lawn signs honouring veterans for $20 each.

November is the month to remember the fallen, and show support for Veterans who have served and continue to serve. Buying a poppy is a small gesture that makes a big difference.
