Parked on the front lawn of the Hospital, the blue Camaro was the featured “guest” at the Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) Foundation Community BBQ on Sept. 23, 2023. It was the first day of autumn, a beautiful sunny day! Attendees were welcome to sit in the car, take selfies and buy a ticket to win the car and support the campaign to bring a CT Scanner to KDH.
Free hotdogs and cake were provided from the Foundation to thank the community for its support of KDH. Many children enjoyed the face painting and fun swag bags. Annie’s Lemonade generously donated its proceeds to the fundraising event and O’Dell Associates Inc. gave out free frozen treats. Live and recorded music by J.A.M. Productions was greatly appreciated by all the guests. J.A.M. announced that it will soon release a CD featuring local musicians, with proceeds going to the KDH CT Scanner.
