Rotary Club of Kemptville Treasurer Dave Pelletier presenting a cheque to Executive Director Cathy Ashby

The House of Lazarus recently suffered a devastating fire at its food bank in South Mountain. With the exception of one freezer containing meat, everything else in the food bank was lost. The Rotary Club of Kemptville decided at their meeting this week to donate $1,000 to help HOL rebuild and replenish its supplies.   Of course, there are others in this community who are making donations – service clubs, schools, businesses and private individuals. The Rotary Club of Kemptville encourages those who have made donations to shout it out and challenges all other community businesses and groups to donate what they can and make it known. The House of Lazarus helps those in the community when they need a hand up; let us now give an ARM UP to the House of Lazarus during their challenging time so they can continue to their work.
