A Happy New Year to all my bird loving friends and their families.
With the cold snap, over Christmas and the last few days of 2020, we have been treated to a very large flock of Red Polls at our feeders. They have shared our garden with some of our more permanent residents. I got outside and withstood the cold, for a while, to get some pictures of them as they fed. Quite a nice way to end the year even if we are still inhibited by the Covid 19 virus. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long before it is all put behind us.
