Over 80 local businesses welcomed almost 1500 guests from the community, and promoted their products and services at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. Visitors enjoyed sampling from Hard Stones Grill Restaurant, Windmill Brewery and Blue Gypsy Wines. Younger visitors had fun with the Zoo Crew animals, the Southgate Church bouncy obstacle course, got their faces painted, took in crafts and a colouring contest at the North Grenville Municipal Centre kids’ zone, plus made a chocolate pretzel at the Harmony Chocolates booth.
It was a busy day with lots of activities and excitement. Jamieson Bridal from 97.5 JuiceFM, successfully interviewed Crash the Duck, and many people enjoyed lunch at one of the food trucks on display. Two lucky visitors to the Shop Local Showcase walked away with a Staples Samsung Galaxy Tablet and a free week of camp from the Municipality.
