Local Greens to hold Healthcare town hall

Our healthcare system is in crisis. There are 2.3 million people across the province who do not have a family doctor and the Ontario College of Family Physicians projects this number will double by 2026.
Family doctors are the backbone of our healthcare system and a shortage of them leads to increased costs and pressures in other areas, as well as delayed or missed diagnoses. Not having a family doctor can create a huge amount of anxiety for people.
Come and hear the experiences of members of the public who are struggling to access the care they need, and learn how the Ontario Greens are planning to address this. Dr Marlene Spruyt, Ontario Greens critic for health/long term care will be with us to share her ideas and listen to your concerns.
The town hall will be taking place on Tuesday March 5th at 7pm at First Presbyterian Church, 10 Church Street, Brockville
