Oxford-on-Rideau Public School recently collaborated with the Brigadoon restaurant in Oxford Mills to provide homemade Mac n’ Cheese to the students every Thursday as part of the school’s hot lunch program. Mayor Nancy Peckford was on hand for this inaugural event, serving up portions to all participating students. Oxford-on-Rideau Public School’s Parent Advisory Committee is working alongside The Mayor and School Board Trustees in an effort to have the school removed from the closure list it was placed on over five years ago. The school has seen growth in its population since then, and we encourage you to enrol your children in this incredible local gem.
