Sadly, we at the Times have to announce, once again, that we can no longer continue to publish the Merrickville-Wolford Times section of the newspaper. As before, there is simply not the advertising support to allow us to continue, although we had hoped and been assured that such support would be forthcoming when we restarted the section after a previous cancellation.
The Times will continue to promote events in the Village as they are submitted to us, and will do whatever we can to publicise and support all volunteer and service groups as they work for the benefit of the residents of Merrickville-Wolford. It would not take very much financial support to keep the section going, but that has not been there, unfortunately. We had hoped to expand distribution throughout Merickville-Wolford, but those plans have had to be put on hold.
