At this time, St. John’s United Church congregation is pleased to advise the community that we are moving ahead with the work to restore St. John’s United Church building to functionality and to its desired place as a source of community outreach and support. However, we do admit that we need the help of many to see this through to completion. St. John’s is committed to this undertaking, but we would certainly welcome financial support from the community at large, near and far. A fundraising committee is meeting mid-January 2023 to organize activities, and we will keep you informed of any plans that are made.
We recognize that we are all in a time of financial uncertainty at home and at work, in our volunteer efforts and business undertakings. We do ask you to please consider us in your contemplation of where you could provide financial assistance. We will readily accept your financial support by being involved in the activities the fundraising committee organizes or by making a contribution in 2023. A receipt will be issued as appropriate. We also welcome your prayers of support for a positive outcome, for the congregation of St. John’s and the resumption of all we offer to our congregation and the community.
