Sieara Plebon-Huff is Master of Science (MSc) in Aging and Health student at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. As part of her program, she is working in partnership with community agencies on understanding ways to describe, monitor, and evaluate programs for aging individuals. She is excited to have the opportunity to apply her knowledge to impactful programs and services within her own community.

Kemptville holds a special place in Sieara’s heart. She spent many weekends in the community as a child and teen, visiting her father, Peter Huff, and grandparents, John and Sheila Huff. She is excited to give back to this community by assisting the Seniors’ Community Services organization (formerly known as Kemptville and District Home Support Inc.) in developing an evaluation plan for their Transportation Service, a key service for older adults in and around the Kemptville area.

In addition to pursing her MSc, Sieara works as an Epidemiologist for the Public Health Agency of Canada, conducting surveillance of adult chronic diseases. Outside of work and school, you’ll find Sieara hanging out with her grandma, Janet, and spoiling her dog.
