The second annual Spirit of Christmas celebration in Oxford Mills is coming up this weekend! The festivities will start on Friday December 4th at 6:30 with a tree lighting ceremony at the old town hall followed by caroling, cookies and hot chocolate at Maplewood Hall. The best decorated house will be judged by a panel of judges touring the hamlet by float.
Events will take place from 8:30am until 3:00pm on Saturday starting off with a pancake breakfast with Santa and kids crafts at the Oxford Mills United Church. For the rest of the day there will be a huge craft sale, silent auction and BBQ at the Oxford on Rideau Public School. Admission is $2 or a can of food and all proceeds will be in support of Michelle Brazeau and her cancer treatment.
