Oxford Mills in 1890, and in 2010! “This section of Water Street shows the old Methodist Church on the right, and the Presbyterian Church on the left. The original Methodist Church had been built in 1858, but was replaced by the one in the picture in 1881. It was replaced in turn by the one shown in the current photograph, completed in 1897. The Presbyterian Church was built in 1882, replacing a former wood frame one. The house on this side of the Methodist Church was later moved on rollers down the street to its present location at 22 Water Street.” – North Grenville, Glimpses of the Past
