In the early morning of last Thursday, the OPP Street Crime unit executed two drug warrants, in Manotick and Kemptville. During the raid on a property on DePencier Drive, three people were arrested and charged with drug trafficking offences, and possessing proceeds of crime.
One vehicle, forms of cocaine, pills, a watch, and close to $200,000 in cash were seized. The Street Crime unit was assisted by OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team.
The OPP Provincial Asset Forfeiture Unit is assisting with the investigation, which is still ongoing. There were no injuries reported during the action.
