North Grenville Curling Club – New Electrical Panel

Council approved $12,000 be transferred from the Curling Club Capital Reserve Account to the North Grenville Curling Club Executive for the installation of a new Motor Control Electrical Panel for the Curling Club’s refrigeration system. The Curling Club Executive’s 2019 annual contribution of $10,000 to the Capital Reserve Account will be withheld and used to contribute to the payment for the installation of the electrical panel.

Development Charges By-Law

Council re-passed the Development Charges By-Law (No. 104-19) that was originally passed on September 5, 2019. Due to a technical oversight, the twenty day notice was not posted. Most of the developers have been contacted and 92% of the funds have been secured. The Municipality will be contacting the remaining developers this week.

Rideau-Sanders-Prescott CIP Façade, Landscape & Signage Grant Program

Council approved the 2019 Rideau-Sanders-Prescott Community Improvement Program (CIP) – Façade, Landscape & Signage Grant Program, as recommended by the Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee (CEDAC), which accepted 14 applications for a total amount of $47,137.24.
