Kemptville Retirement Living, the new residential facility being built at 2950 County Road 43 in Kemptville, will be holding an information session for the public at the Municipal Centre on November 22 at 1.30 p.m., followed by a time for snacks and live entertainment. Lucie Lapointe, President of Kemptville Retirement Living, and Eric Chartrand, Managing Partner, explained that the project has experienced unfortunate delays in completing the building this summer: “We have been experiencing construction delays during bad winter weather and excessive rainfall this summer, along with late deliveries of our steel. When we will have the roof and exterior walls completed, and the weather is not an issue, we will provide a revised completion date”
The information session will include a construction update, in order to keep everyone informed of progress. The final facility include a dining room, home theatre, beauty salon, physiotherapy/fitness clinic, games room, computer/library room, laundry facility, chapel, reception lounge, private lounges with a river and sunset view. There will also be an outdoor patio, gazebo, and a paved walking path adjacent to the river.
The company points out that the facility will be equipped with air conditioning, fire sprinklers, elevators, and CCTV. “Our studios and suites will be bright and spacious, and will include bathrooms with walk-in showers, individual climate adjustment and emergency call systems including individual pendants. Some units will have a balcony, kitchenette and walk-in closets. River view suites are also available”.
Everyone is invited to attend the information session on November 22 to learn about this important new asset to our community.
