Local musician Darren Michael Boyd won Best Music Video North America in the Alternative Film Festival’s (AltFF) Summer 2021 awards. The music video for Darren’s original track, “Arachnochakra”, was shot here in North Grenville. Darren self-produced the video, and explained that he, “stepped in literal cow plop” to shoot it.
Darren is an incredibly skilled guitarist. His sound is in the lineage of classic rock legends like Kiss and Alice Cooper, but is nonetheless in a realm of his own.
His sophomore album, “Wonders of the Invisible World” was written, recorded, and produced over the course of Covid-19 lockdowns.
