Two festivals taking place in North Grenville this year have received a boost to their budgets thanks to the 2017 Celebrate Ontario program. The Kemptville RibFest, which will be taking
place June 16 to 18, was granted $6,650 towards expenses, which will certainly help to pay the rent. The big winner, though, was the Kemptville Live Music Festival, slated for July 22 to
24, which received a whopping $100,000 from the Celebrate Ontario fund.

A total of six events in Leeds-Grenville were given grants, including some taking place in Prescott, Brockville and Gananoque. But Kemptville Live’s award was by far the largest of
them all. In fact, the next largest, to the Rails to Trails Festival in Brockville, was only half of what the music festival received.
