Dear Editor,
I would like to share some goods news, at least for me. While walking along the Rail Trail, my glasses slipped out of my jacket pocket. I left my contact information with the local optometrists, as well as the establishments where I walked by, in case someone found them. Indeed, a cyclist found them and gave them to his sister, Elaine, on Reuben Street. She, in turn, called Dr. Eamon’s office and left her contact information should someone be looking for them. After a few days, the glasses were safely back in my hands. Since one good turn deserves another, I contributed to the local food bank at the Salvation Army. All is well, that ends well. The kindness of strangers is much appreciated.
