Dear Editor,
I was somewhat disturbed by your decision to publish the letter critical of Kemptville’s new post-mistress, which came precipitously close to being a personal attack.
I’ve never met either of these women, but I strongly feel Ms Herman should have addressed her concerns solely to the Post Office itself, as they are the authority which will ultimately deal with complaints. A public forum such as the NGT is highly inappropriate, since the letter contains such gossipy barbs.
