This week’s Editorial (he ain’t heavy…he’s my brother) was very poignant.
It is very sad that our society has lowered itself to where name-calling, bigotry and hate seems to have become the norm, and indeed is becoming acceptable in many countries (USA, Brazil, Poland, Hungary, the UK, to name a few.) It pains me to see this behaviour and we should all strive to uphold the freedoms from which we all benefit. If they disappear, it will take a very long time for them to come back.
