I’d like to thank Mr Fry for his recent letter which has spurred me into action. I have launched Kemptville Environmental Group on Facebook to act as a forum for discussion on what we can do locally to tackle the climate crisis, the biodiversity crisis and other environmental issues.

Thank You to Steve Gabell for self importanincing himself as the Founder of a previously nonexistent Group. May I point out that the goal to eventually become less reliant on fossil fuels and carbon reduction must be a marathon and not a sprint. Most residents can ill afford to strap a windmill or solar facility to their properties in the short term. It is far more prudent and energy conscious to employ and improve on the proven and existent energy solutions that a are available now with an eye to a long term goal.
