The Kemptville Youth Centre held its 11th Golf Tournament at Rideau Glen on Friday, September 15. There were many generous sponsors led by Geleynse Earthworks and auction prize donations; these included a Salamanders restaurant dinner for two with Mayor Nancy Peckford which, after vigorous bidding conducted by Daren Givoque of O’Farrell Financial, was jointly won by Andre Rancourt and Like Geleynse for $550! All proceeds go to KYC and will go a long way to covering their annual utility and other running costs. KYC thanks all volunteers, golfers, and sponsors – visit KYC facebook for photos.
