It’s been more than a year since the Kemptville Lions Club has held a “Catch the Ace” draw. Since that time, life has slowly returned to something almost like normal. In celebration, the first draw of round 6 of “Catch the Ace” will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 7:30 pm at the Legion Hall (100 Reuben Crescent, Kemptville).
The Kemptville Lions Club was the first organization to bring “Catch the Ace” to Eastern Ontario with its inaugural draw on May 2, 2017. Since then, they have given away more than $80,000 in jackpots and weekly prizes. Money raised has also benefitted many local organizations, including Kemptville Home Support, the Kemptville Youth Centre, Mustangs Volleyball, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Camp Quality, CHEO and the area food banks. The whole community wins!
Tickets are available at Kemptville Bowling, B & H Foodliner, Jonsson’s Independent Grocer, Moose Mart, Fast Eddie’s Diner, R. Rose Automotive, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212 and from members of the Kemptville Lions Club.
