On January 13, 2019, shortly after 8:20 p.m., members of South Grenville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver travelling on Highway 401 eastbound.

The driver was intercepted close to Iroquois; however, the driver fled on foot in the bush. Members from the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit were deployed, with negative result. The investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen from the Peel Region.

The person is described as: male, dark brown or black short hair, wearing a grey t-shirt and dark coloured pants.
