Students attending Fulford Preparatory College are always looking for ways to contribute positively to the local community. One of these ways is to bring holiday cheer to seniors residing at Hilltop Manor. On Monday, December 10, students visited the Manor to sing, play international music and deliver gift bags to each of the seniors.
Led by the Student Council, students have conducted various fundraisers in order to purchase small items for the gift bags. Grade 11 student, John Tu, sang for the residents, and grade 12 student, Freya Zhao, played her guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument). All of the students enjoyed interacting with the residents and wishing them the happiest of holidays.
