On June 29, 2019, Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed enforcement on Highway 416 and intercepted a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed. The vehicle was observed travelling 163 km/h in a 100 k/h zone. The vehicle was impounded and a 23 year old from Toronto, Ontario had his driver’s licence seized for seven days and was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
