On December 15, 2018 at 1:18 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Grenville officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 43, Kemptville. During the stop officers noticed a mason jar with Cannabis sitting between the driver and front passenger seat.
Kayla DUTFIELD, age 26 of Nelson, BC was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for
- Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available (Cannabis Act 12 (1).
People are urged to use the same rules as for carrying alcohol in the vehicle and ensure it is out of reach from the driver and in proper sealed containers.
