An amazingly successful Christmas BBQ, sponsored by the Kemptville team of Royal LePage Team Realty, the North Grenville Fire Department, and the Kemptville OPP, was held on Thursday, December 5 at the North Grenville Fire Station #1. Over $1,000 was donated to the Salvation Army kettle, along with 45 toys and 4 bags of groceries. The Christmas BBQ has been a tradition in Kemptville for over 15 years, and was normally held at the OPP station.
A huge thank you goes out to the North Grenville Fire Service for allowing us to use their facilities this year and coming on board, and to Santa for making an appearance. A shout out to the generous residents of North Grenville. There will be a lot of smiling faces on Christmas morning in our community. Mark your calendars for the 2020 BBQ, which will be held on Thursday, December 3.
