Over the past several years, many fraternal organizations, businesses, schools, churches, synagogues and individuals have donated their time and money to the fight against the ever-present epidemic of substance abuse. One way to rectify this worldwide problem is through the spread of information. Increasing public awareness concerning the dangers of drugs and alcohol through co-operation of individuals and organizations has garnered significant results.

I would like to thank all the schools that participated in our 11th Annual Poster contest. We had over 100 posters with only 4 winners. The Kemptville winning posters move on to Kingston for more judging and the possibility of moving on to Toronto.

Also a big ‘thank you’ to the judges for choosing the winning posters.
